Summer grazing is here!

Every horse is pleased to go out onto the fresh, juicy pasture in the spring. However, in particular when building up the time spent grazing, the amount of grass consumed must be regulated. First and foremost, this is done by slowing building up the period spent grazing with a carefully thought out schedule. A muzzle for horses can also help. This is quite simply buckled onto the horse's head, just like a halter, and has a basket around the mouth that does not prevent grazing but limits it. Also practical is the turnout halter, which does not have annoying metal and buckles and so can be left on whilst out at grass. Play balls, with which horses like to amuse themselves, ensure variety out at pasture.
