Stiefel RP1 Insect-Stop Sensitive is a highly effective insect repellent with active tick and insect protection in line with biocide regulations for particularly sensitive skin types. The active ingredient saltidin® (icaridin) is almost odourless for us humans and does not bother humans or horse with an unpleasant smell. Insects, on the other hand, notice these smells and are sent packing by this repellent.
In addition, Stiefel RP1 Insect-Stop Sensitive works without alcohol and can therefore also be used on horses with eczema.
When applying Stiefel RP1 to the coat, the volatile properties of the active agent cause a thin, protective fragrance to form, which can last for several hours. The ingredient icaridin® is also very well tolerated by the skin and is thus also suitable for riders.
When it comes to proper application of repellents, it is very important to apply them correctly and over the entire surface area: by combining spray and gel, you achieve maximum effectiveness with minimal consumption. The spray is used for larger surface areas, the gel, in contrast, for targeted application under the belly as well as for the sensitive parts on the head.
Stiefel RP1 has already received several awards as a test winner and features a quality seal.
Application: from a distance of approx. 25 cm spray sparingly onto the coat as required. With sensitive horses, apply using a cloth or, alternatively, use the RP1 gel. Riders can apply RP1 sparingly onto the skin. Avoid contact with sensitive parts of the body (eyes, ears, nostrils and mucous membranes). Active protection begins immediately.
