Stiefel RP1 Insect Stop Gel is a highly effective insect repellent with active tick and insect protection in gel form in accordance with biocide regulations. Stiefel RP1 Insect Stop Gel is particularly suitable for sensitive areas and horses sensitive to spray, as the gel is applied to the horse with the sponge provided. Stiefel RP1 Insect Stop Gel is also alcohol-free and can therefore be used on horses with eczema.
The active ingredient Saltidin® (Icaridin) is almost odourless for us humans and does not bother humans or horses with an unpleasant smell. Insects, on the other hand, perceive the odours and are deterred by the repellent. When RP1 is applied to the coat, the volatile properties of the active ingredient create a thin, protective cloud of fragrance that can last for several hours. In addition, the active ingredient Icaridin® is very well tolerated by the skin and therefore also suitable for riders.
For the correct application of repellents, it is very important to apply them correctly and evenly: the combination of spray and gel ensures maximum effectiveness with minimum consumption. The spray is used for large areas while the gel is used for targeted application under the stomach and for sensitive areas on the head.
Stiefel RP1 has already been recognised several times as a test winner and has been awarded a seal of quality.
Application: Apply the Stiefel RP1 Insect Stop gel sparingly to the desired areas of the body. Avoid sensitive areas of the body (eyes, ears, nostrils and mucous membranes). Active protection kicks in immediately. Gel for protection against insects with Icaridin (Saltidin)
