Eco-friendly disposal of electric devices, batteries and accumulators

Electric devices, batteries and accumulators (rechargeable batteries) contain resources and harmful substances.

Every consumer is therefore legally obliged to dispose them at a authorized collection point. This ensures environmentally friendly and resource-saving recycling.

Electric devices, rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of with domestic waste. They can be handed in free of charge at any retailer where similar products are sold - regardless of where they were purchased and regardless of brand or type. Otherwise, they can be returned for free to a recycling center or recycling depot.

Old batteries and accumulators that are not covered by the old device must be separated from it before being handed in.
