Gently dissolves scabs and crusts. With mallenders, eczema and older skin injuries, scabs often cover the affected areas of the skin, adhering stubbornly and sticking to the hairs. This thus hinders treatment of the underlying pathogens. The extremely thin oils of the KERALIT Keralysin Ointment infiltrate and soften these scab layers and loosen them. These can then be gently removed without mechanical irritation or injury to the skin, often after just 1 overnight application. Only then can additionally prescribed disinfectants or medications achieve their optimal effect. KERALIT Keralysin Ointment has proved to be very useful, especially for Friesians or other horses with a long coat in the fetlock bendjoint, as removing the coat for treatment is unnecessary.
