In doing this, the wellbeing of the horse always takes precedence. The working relationship with well known athletes from every horse-sport discipline, such as Hans Guenther Winkler, Isabell Werth, Franke Sloothaak, Nelson and Rodrigo Pessoa, Soeren von Roenne, Helena Weinberg as well as Linda Tellington Jones or Walter Feldmann jr. is the basis for a continuing market-driven further development of the range of products.

The brand Waldhausen (AWA) is just one out of many high quality brands available from Waldhausen. Moll and Wembley are traditional brands in the company, just as is the clothes brand ELT Paris. But also well-known brands like, Hampa, Thermostar or the Swing Line for riding-boots and ultra-modern safety helmets come from the producer of equestrian products in Cologne.

With its extensive experience, its large costumer base and its great know how, Waldhausen has always been a sought-after partner for manufacturers of top-brands for the equestrian.

Because of this, Waldhausen very successfully entered the German speaking market for Wintec saddles together with the Australian saddlery Bates as well as more recently for the CAIR-air-panel- system, a revolutionary saddle padding.
In 1996 the step was taken to create a totally new range of helmets, which provided unparalleled safety standards. This was done together with CASCO, the innovative producer of riding helmets. The skeptics were won over, CASCO riding helmets now belong to the most successful brands ever.

That the company from Cologne also feels committed to the sport can be seen by the variety of sponsorships Waldhausen has been maintaining. Exemplary for that is the close working relationship to the German Olympic Committee for Equitation (DOKR) whose official supplier Waldhausen has been since 1972, or the award for young show jumpers, “The Golden Waldhausen Saddle”, which is awarded on a yearly basis during the indoor show in Berlin.

Waldhausen products also at Aachen: Waldhausen has been the official DOKR supplier for more than 30 years.
